The Defense Information Systems Agency has authorized Oracle to operate at Impact Level 5 across the government cloud regions of Chicago, Phoenix and Ashburn, Va.
The Defense Information Systems Agency cleared a Project Hosts cloud computing service to host controlled unclassified information for Department of Defense and federal customers. Project Hosts received a 12-month provisional authorization at impact level 5 for the Federal Private Cloud, a platform-as-a-service offering for DoD personnel to manage applications deployed on the department network, DISA said Tuesday.
John Hamilton, program manager of operations at the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, has tweeted that IBM‘s collaboration platform became the 100th cloud service offering to receive FedRAMP approval, Federal Times reported Wednesday.
