Mitre has secured a contract to continue to operate a federally funded research and development center for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services over the next five years. The CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare is the first FFRDC dedicated to strengthening the U.S. health care system and addressing the business, policy, technology and operational challenges affecting the health sector, Mitre said Tuesday.
