Cobham's advanced electronic solutions business has received a $48M contract to provide Application Specific Integrated Circuit components and product support to an unnamed customer for medical imaging applications.

The FBI has awarded AT&T a $92 million mobility contract to provide additional FirstNet capabilities that support the bureau's operations. “We are pleased to see the Department of Justice (DOJ) expand its use of the network platform to connect more agencies within the law enforcement community,” said Ed Parkinson, CEO of the FirstNet Authority.

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) has awarded Accenture Federal Services (AFS) a five-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to modernize the client case-management system of the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services (PPS) System. Under the BPA, AFS will help the AOUSC design, integrate, deploy and support a secure cloud-based client case-management system on a software-as-a-service platform.

Jacobs has acquired The Buffalo Group, a provider of advanced cyber and intelligence solutions. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Accenture Federal Services (AFS) and Criterion Systems Inc. have been awarded a spot on the five-year, $450 million U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) Information Technology Support Services (DAITSS) contract, AFS reported on Wednesday. The blanket purchase agreement (BPA) was issued by the U.S. Forest Service and available to all USDA agencies.

Today, Globys has completed the amalgamation of the CenturyLink instances into one SaaS environment that will provide customer-facing capabilities for invoice analysis, consolidation, reporting and payment. The migration will support Lumen’s digital transformation under the new brand. The move will enable customers to view their product and service usage in near real-time, instead of navigating through multiple portals to review, analyze and pay their bills.

I'm keenly focused on is supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) in its continued migration to the cloud."

A U.S. subsidiary of Cobham has agreed to supply electronic warfare systems and provide aerospace support services to 12 programs under three Raytheon Technologies business units as part of a $500M partnership agreement between the two companies.

SpyCloud has partnered with CyberDefenses to protect against threats in current and future elections, SpyCloud reported on Wednesday. CyberDefenses has provided one in five election jurisdictions across the nation with security services, including Election Security Assessments that evaluate the end-to-end election process, benchmark cyber risk and recommendations to fix gaps that could introduce risk for cyberattacks and election interference. 

Amyx has been awarded five Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS) task orders to support the agency’s enterprise modernization, the company reported on Wednesday. Most recently, Amyx secured the DLA ERP Cloud Environment Program Support contract.  Under the contract, Amyx will integrate the existing ERP with other supply chain efforts.

Accenture has formed Accenture Cloud First under a three-year, $3 billion investment. The division will help clients accelerate digital transformation to increase speed and scale. Accenture has appointed Karthik Narain to lead Accenture Cloud First and join the Global Management Committee, effective October 1. Accenture Cloud First is a multi-service group of 70,000 cloud professionals that will leverage Accenture’s industry and technology capabilities and ecosystem partnerships.
