The Federal Aviation Administration has presented Northrop Grumman with the Diamond Award of Excellence, which recognizes the company's FAA-certified repair station that employs aviation maintenance professionals who have completed a training series. Northrop said Monday its facility in Rolling Meadows, Ill., received the recognition for the ninth straight year and more than 40 company employees also accepted individual awards from the agency.
