Globecomm Systems has received a $9.7 million delivery order from a multilateral organization for radio frequency upgrade kits, antennas, terminals and related support services.
The company said Tuesday the order falls under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award contract that contains three base years and two option years.
According to Globecomm, the customer is upgrading its legacy communication systems to employ modern Internet protocol and baseband technologies.
The company expects to complete delivery of the communication upgrade kits and equipment by June 30, 2016.
Globecomm also offers consulting, system design, integration, maritime and mobile communications, media and mission critical network services in the public and private sector markets worldwide.
