A Raytheon–Websense joint venture has selected Syntel Inc. as an integration partner to implement the JV’s cybersecurity and analytics products.
Syntel will work to integrate and customize the SureView suite for customers to manage risk, uncover threat patterns, minimize disruption and protect business assets, Syntel said Tuesday.
“The SureView family of products will provide our clients with the defense-grade security that today’s digital enterprises demand,” said Nitin Rakesh, Syntel CEO.
SureView products are designed to fend off inside and outside threats such as malware, advanced persistent threats and malicious insider behavior.
The Raytheon-Websense JV was formed following Raytheon’s nearly $1.9 billion acquisition of Websense from Vista Equity Partners.
Under the agreement, Raytheon will consolidate the company’s cyber products division into Websense to create a new cybersecurity firm.
