Raytheon has unveiled a new business segment in San Diego to further support the company’s navigation systems division in the U.S.
Raytheon Anschuetz USA LLC will offer technical advice and lifecycle support services for shipping firms, shipyards and military agencies in the country with regard to Raytheon Anschutz nautical equipment, including radars, autopilots, gyrocompasses and electronic sea charts, the company said Friday.
Frank Christophersen, president of Raytheon Anschuetz USA, said the new subsidiary will work to provide maritime systems-focused support for U.S.-based clients and expand the company’s operations in the country.
The subsidiary, based at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems’ office in California, will also provide consulting services concerning International Maritime Organization requirements and recommendations.
