Lockheed Martin will receive tax credits from the New Jersey government for the company’s proposed technology development facilities in Camden.
The company plans to build two integrated laboratories in the city through a partnership with Rowan University, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority said Monday.
“Lockheed’s commitment to the region and its partnership with Rowan will generate a ripple effect that will benefit many sectors of our economy,” said Dr. Ali Houshmand, president of Rowan University.
Lockheed will establish the Camden labs to complement the firm’s systems research, development and manufacturing operations in Moorestown, according to EDA.
EDA said it approved $120 million in tax incentives to four projects on Monday.
