BoeingLogo1 EbizBoeing will open a cyber analytics center in Singapore as the company aims to help its clients in the Asia-Pacific region fulfill cybersecurity requirements.

The company will provide training and equipment to cybersecurity professionals at the facility and employ cyber personnel to work at the center, Boeing said Monday.

“We are taking our Singapore partnership to a new level with this cyber analytics center aimed at boosting cybersecurity in the city-state and beyond,” said Skip Boyce, president of Boeing Southeast Asia.

Customers will share information through a feature at the center and security professionals will work to address cybersecurity challenges through collaborations with industry partners, customers and academia.

“The risks to critical infrastructure and governments worldwide continue to grow, and this center demonstrates Boeing’s – and Singapore’s – commitment to addressing the cyber threat,” said Per Beith, director of information security solutions at Boeing.
