General Dynamics‘ Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions unit has announced new updates to a security analytics platform designed to help enterprises detect and mitigate any malicious activity on computer networks.
XPS Collector works to automatically correlate threat intelligence with network metadata to reduce the time it takes for security analysts to find a threat and take action against it, Fidelis said Wednesday.
“The early detection of threats is crucial to successful discovery, containment and remediation,” said Tom Lyons, vice president of product management at General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions.
Lyons added the product’s correlation and visualization features are intended to help organizations analyze indicators of compromise, locate threat actors and identify the root cause of an attack.
XPS Collector also contains a dashboard that works to provide customers a graphical representation of historical metadata and allow users to scan files for potential threats, according to Fidelis.
