The Project Performance Company has signed a potential five-year, $17.5 million contract with the Justice Department to provide operation, maintenance and other IT support services for the department’s Victim Notification System.
PPC CEO Paul Strasser said Tuesday the contract continues the company’s support for the automated notification system, which began in 2009.
This follow-on contract also covers program management, database administration, help desk and bulk mailing support and web development and testing services.
PPC will be working with VINE developer Appriss to deliver the service.
VNS alerts victims of federal crime on the progress of their case, including scheduled public court or parole proceedings by using customized messages sent via media such as email, letter, automated calls and fax.
