The company said Monday that it will collaborate with the Lawrence Livermore and Los Alamos National Laboratories to support multi-year employment for young cyber experts.

“When you combine the resources and expertise of our three organizations you have a program that will make significant contributions across a broad spectrum of cybersecurity areas,” said Craig Albert, president of Bechtel’s government services unit.

“The first two years of each recruit’s program will be paid for entirely with corporate dollars with no taxpayer funding,” Albert added.

A consortium that includes Bechtel and the University of California operates the two national laboratories.
