Tony Smeraglinolo: Engility Lands New Navy Logistics Services Work

Engility Holdings has won an $11 million recompete order to provide technical support for the U.S. Navy’s military command in Florida, a contract award that Engility President and CEO Tony Smeraglinolo says is part of the company’s logistics services portfolio.

The contract covers logistics assistance work for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division’s landing craft air cushion program in fleet modernization management, introduction of new tools and maintenance of legacy products, Engility said Tuesday.

The company said other support areas under the three-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract include training, data collection, monitoring, feedback resolution and product development related to logistics.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve (NSWC PCD),” said Smeraglinolo.

“This is an important win for Engility and it further underscores the solid past performance and technical competence of our talented employees in providing logistics services, and our decades of experience in supporting the LCAC community,” he added.
