In-Q-Tel has invested and signed an agreement with Vorbeck Materials on the development of the latter company’s graphene technology for applications in the intelligence community and commercial electronics industry.

“This collaboration will speed the adoption of graphene-based technologies, leading to robust and versatile consumer electronics products,” John Lettow, Vorbeck Materials president, said Monday.

According to Vorbeck, the agreement is geared toward further development of commercial conductive graphene compounds.

“We look forward to helping advance Vorbeck’s technology and seeing the impact that it can have for our government customers and the broader market,” said Megan Anderson, vice president of IQT’s field-deployable technologies practice.
