A laboratory run by Lockheed Martin‘s Sandia subsidiary is seeking partners for research and development into ephemeral biometrics for cyber identity management and insider threat monitoring functions.
Sandia National Laboratories is looking to boost cyber identity authentication and develop new tools to address insider threats through cooperative research and development agreements or work for others agreements, the lab said in a June 4 FedBizOpps post.
According to the special notice, those agreements would include funds provided to Sandia to develop the EB technology to map and translate cyber activity into specific cyber identities that can be monitored and managed.
The lab said it prefers to partner with organizations with experience or expertise in either cybersecurity or physical security system design.
Responses are due to the lab August 4.
