Carahsoft Technology Corp. will serve as a distributor and government aggregator of PernixData’s server-side storage intelligence offering for the U.S. public sector.
The companies have also agreed to jointly fund the sales and marketing of a new storage architecture for government and education customers, PernixData said Monday.
Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence services at Carahsoft, said the company would offer PernixData FVP software to agencies in order to help fulfill customer demand for storage performance.
Information technology administrators work to scale storage platforms by using the PernixData FVP software, the companies said.
“We are thrilled to partner with a heavy hitter like Carahsoft to expand PernixData’s presence into the public sector market,” said Ted Stinson, VP of worldwide sales at PernixData.
