BoeingLogo1 EbizBoeing will maintain and perform engineering work on a system used by the U.S. military to rescue warfighters in distress under a four-year, $32.5 million contract.

The company will also help train Air Force, Army, Marine Corps and Navy on how to use the Combat Survivor Evader Locator tool, the company said Thursday.

“With this first-ever multi-year CSEL support contract, Boeing will be able to provide reliable, long-term service for this essential system,” said Steve Capps, Boeing CSEL program manager.

The CSEL program includes handheld radios, satellite relays and four global base stations.
