Raytheon worked with user feedback on previous versions of an insider threat and policy management product to include new features in an upgraded package.
The company built PUMA Policy Pack to help users carry out continuous monitoring activities against attacks from privileged users within the network, Raytheon said Friday.
It also introduced a software development kit for integration with other analytics tools in the updated product
“The PUMA Policy Pack was developed to meet requirements specifically articulated by our customers to mitigate the privileged user threat,” said Ed Hammersla, managing director of cyber products for Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services business.
“The latest enhancements to SureView are the result of customer inputs and lessons learned from long-term deployment,†he added.
Other new features include those for network traffic monitoring and collection, a policy creation tool and support for large-scale applications.
