Unisys‘ subsidiary in Australia has been awarded a contract to continue providing information technology managed services to the country’s national auditing agency.
The company said Monday it will extend its service desk hours the office’s mobile workforce and continue to help with services integration work and other IT activities.
Scott Whyman, vice president and general manager of Unisys’ global managed services in the Asia-Pacific region, said the company aims to increase the number of user issues that get resolved at the first call to its service desk.
According to Unisys, the company has improved the number of issues resolved at the first call to its service desk by 10 percent.
The company has used Information Technology Infrastructure Library practices and policies for the contract since 2009.
