D&B has partnered with big data company FirstRain to develop new analytics technology for business information products.
Both companies will work to integrate structured and unstructured business data and analytics into FirstRain’s market intelligence portfolio with the goal of helping D&B customers view their content different various sources, the companies said Tuesday.
“Finding and identifying solutions that solve unmet customer needs is crucial to our success,†said Laura Kelly, chief product officer at D&B.
Kelly said the companies aim to help customers gain insights into prospects, customers, competitors and markets.
The companies intend for D&B users of Hoovers, D&B360 and D&B Direct and First Research to use FirstRain-provided big data analytics for unstructured information that is mined from social media channels such as blogs and Twitter.
