CEO Mike Gregoire says CA Technologies wants to be known as the leading provider of mainframe computing software, which currently accounts for half of the company’s revenues, Times of India reported Friday.
Shilpa Phadnis writes Gregorie told the Indian publication in an interview that CA continues to invest in virtualization platforms and intends to focus more on cloud offerings.
The company implemented a series of programs to attract cloud professionals and match its products to market needs, Gregorie added, according to the article.
“There is a lot of passion in the people we employ. If I can put them in a situation that can help them win, I think we are going to be great.”
He also mentioned the company’s mobility product releases, including the Nimsoft service desk management tool and Layer 7 machine-to-machine security platform.
