The Department of Defense’s Platform One Solutions Marketplace has designated Amazon Web Services Marketplace as “Awardable,” allowing DOD organizations to procure services from over 4,000 providers.
In an AWS blog posted on Friday, Josh Weatherly, global director of public sector industry partnerships and go-to-market for AWS Marketplace, said the “awardable designation will streamline and accelerate the department’s access to cutting-edge innovation for mission success.”
Expanding DOD Access
With the status, DOD organizations can access pre-approved services, speed up technology deployment, ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations, centralize billing and license management and optimize IT spending.
The AWS Marketplace video, “Amazon Web Services, Inc. Streamline Defense Procurement and License Management with AWS Marketplace,” is available exclusively to P1SM customers.
P1SM is a digital repository of awardable, five-minute pitch videos showcasing offerings to meet the government’s most pressing needs.
