Vasion, a digital transformation company, and Carahsoft Technology, an information technology company, have forged a partnership meant to boost the distribution of Vasion’s fully integrated automation platform to the public sector.
Carahsoft said Thursday it will make the cloud-based, SaaS automation platform available through its reseller partners. The platform will also be distributed through procurement contracts like Information Technology Solutions – Software 2, National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint, The Interlocal Purchasing System and OMNIA Partners.
Vasion’s SaaS platform, particularly its serverless print automation tool, negates the need for print servers. This allows companies to centralize their whole print environment making it easier to manage resulting in less infrastructure and costs.
The cloud-based platform comes with native IdP integrations, Secure Release Printing and Off-Network Printing options. They are designed with a Zero Trust approach to ensure all user data is secured.
Aside from enhanced data security, the partnership also boosts efficiency as agencies can access flexible print options, significantly reduce costs, jump-start automation efforts and quickly adapt to an ever-evolving digital landscape.
Rod Hughes, global vice president of channel sales at Vasion, expressed excitement over the partnership, saying, “IT modernization is a central concern for the government as interactions with constituents increasingly move to virtual settings. Our platform enables agencies to improve service delivery, citizen experience and engagement.”
Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft, emphasized the government’s commitment to sector-wide digital transformation initiatives. “Vasion’s fully integrated, cloud-based platform offers users the tools needed to automate their processes securely and efficiently. Through collaborating with Vasion and our reseller network, Carahsoft supports the Public Sector’s efforts to prepare for success in the digital future.”
