Tyto Athene has completed its acquisition of managed cybersecurity services provider MindPoint Group, first announced last month.
In light of the acquisition, MindPoint President Patti Chanthaphone will assume the position of Tyto’s federal civilian group president, where she will work to accelerate future cyber growth, the Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company said Tuesday.
Dennis Kelly, CEO of Tyto, said, “The MindPoint acquisition will build upon our existing cyber-focused work and expand our capabilities, allowing us to better serve our nationally important clients and their missions.”
As president of MindPoint, Chanthaphone facilitated growth in the cybersecurity market and stressed a focus on modernized services. She is a certified information security system professional, or CISSP, with a master’s in engineering management from George Washington University.
Chanthaphone said she looks forward to lending her knowledge of cybersecurity to Tyto’s platform.
“This is a significant milestone for MindPoint and our whole team,” said Chanthaphone. “I’m looking forward to tackling my new role at Tyto and the opportunity to combine and expand our core cybersecurity offerings to our government sector clients while continuing to deliver stellar services and success to our federal civilian customers.”
Tyto also recently purchased Microtel, a space software development and system engineering firm.
