Kayla Huthoefer, former director at BAE Systems, has joined software company Clarity as director of strategic capture and disruptive growth.
In a LinkedIn post, Clarity said Huthoefer brings to the role “an impactful collection of career experiences… that have directly shaped her into who she is and how she approaches work each and every day.”
Huthoefer most recently served as director of strategic capture at BAE, where she led the development and execution of business winning and growth strategies for the company’s intelligence and security sector.
Her career also includes time working as economic development project manager for El Paso Country in Colorado.
Commenting on her appointment at Clarity, Huthoefer shared that the central theme of her government and industry career has been developing strategies for business development, growth and economic impact.
“However, I found my niche in defense innovation as it allows me to use my experience in economic development, venture capital, innovation, public-private partnerships, and strategy to grow and advance work that defends and supports what I’m most passionate about – the #mission.”
