The U.S. Air Force is seeking information on potential vendors that could provide cloud computing engineering services for the Kessel Run’s All Domain Common Platform program and security operations of the KR Office of the Chief Technology Officer.
Kessel Run is formally known as Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Detachment 12 and serves as the service branch’s software development laboratory.
The military service is considering acquiring vendor capabilities and engineering skills in the areas of cloud architecture; DevSecOps engineering; product engineering; software engineering; security, cybersecurity and cyber engineering; site reliability engineering; and platform and platform services engineering, according to a request for information published Wednesday.
Some of the functional areas to be supported through the planned requirement are cybersecurity, information technology service management, platform operations and the security operations center.
Responses to the RFI are due Nov. 2.
