The Defense Information Systems Agency extended its other transaction agreement with Booz Allen Hamilton over the agency’s Thunderdome zero trust architecture project.
The follow-on OTA follows Booz Allen’s completion of a prototype of the security platform 18 months into the awarding of the initial contract, DISA said Friday.
Thunderdome features a zero trust network and application security to support warfighters.
Under the new contract, the company has a one-year base period of performance to put Thunderdome into production. It also includes four option periods of one year each.
“While DISA leverages these capabilities on our cyber terrain, this full-scale production agreement can be used to assist the military services and other DOD components in implementing key zero-trust activities,” said U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert Skinner, director of DISA and commander of the Joint Force Headquarters-Department of Defense Information Network. Skinner is a two-time recipient of the Wash100 award.
