Ensco will provide continuous systems engineering and integration services in support of the U.S. Space Force’s launch and test range system and defensive cyber operations under a pair of contracts worth $42 million combined.
The company will upgrade fielded tools and integrate new systems into the Launch and Test Range System and standardize systems engineering processes at the Space Force’s Eastern and Western rocket launch ranges as part of a two-year, $24 million contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work will occur at Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, Vandenberg Space Force Base and Los Angeles Air Force Base in California and Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado.
Ensco also secured an $18 million contract to engineer, integrate and operate space systems for defensive cyber operations.
Both contracts were awarded on a sole source basis.
