Gregory Bowman, chief innovation officer and vice president of corporate development at Siemens Government Technologies, was named to the board council of Hope For The Warriors, a nonprofit that works to support veterans, service members and military families through clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation as well as transition initiatives.
The organization said Wednesday Bowman brings to the eight-member board council more than 25 years of experience in serving with the U.S. Army.
At Siemens, Bowman is responsible for driving the company’s strategic growth through the delivery of global portfolio products and services to U.S. government customers. He also held a number of posts, including the role of vice president of strategy, growth and partnership, before assuming his current position.
“This incredible organization is dedicated to those impacted by military service; and tailors its support to the needs of each veteran and family member to help them restore self, family and hope,” said Bowman.
He noted that Siemens has a history of backing Hope For The Warriors and its mission objectives.
Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of Hope For The Warriors, commented on Bowman’s inclusion to the board council, “As an Army veteran Greg truly understands the every changing needs of the military family’s that we serve each day.”
