Sigma Defense Systems has introduced a new corporate brand identity to underscore the company’s growth and service offering innovation.
The Perry, Georgia-based technology company announced Friday the debut of a redesigned logo and website depicting a flow between digital and physical properties and relating feelings of motion and connection to reflect collaborative progress.
According to Matt Jones, CEO of Sigma Defense, the company wants the updated design and brand identity to tie back to its 15 years of accomplishments while signaling its future and new opportunities in technology and services.
The company is named after the Greek letter Sigma, which means “the sum of the parts.” The new, modern logo design uses the Greek symbol as its centerpoint in order to emphasize how Sigma Defense, technology and customers could collaboratively achieve results.
Meanwhile, the imagery of the men and women of the U.S. military are the focus of Sigma’s redesigned website in an effort to reflect the company’s customer base. The site also draws attention to the software offerings for C5ISR, JADC2, SATCOM and DevSecOps, which are the company’s focus areas.
As a Department of Defense partner, Sigma provides it with systems engineering, program management and systems integration, as well as test and evaluation support.
In December 2021, Sigma won a five-year, $250 million contract from the General Services Administration to assist the DOD in the installation of data centers and ground entry points and gateways used to collect data.
