The U.S. Navy has selected 15 companies to compete for task orders under a five-year, $74 million multiple-award contract that provides for the design and engineering of prototype vehicle components and systems for the U.S. Special Operations Command.
Work through Dec. 20, 2026, also includes fabrication and testing support for SOCOM’s family of special operations vehicles, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The 15 awardees, which will receive a $1,000 minimum contract guarantee each from fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funding, are:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, launched a competitive solicitation for the contract on the beta SAM website and collected 16 bids.
