Stellar Science was selected to conduct studies under a potential $48 million Redefining the Basic Analytical and Simulation Environment contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory.
The Albuquerque, New Mexico-based computer software company will research, develop and expand a modular and object-oriented framework for modeling, simulation and analysis of multi-domain operations, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
AFRL awarded the company an initial task order worth $2.29 million as part of the contract for the Foundation I research and development effort. The lab used the U.S. Air Force’s fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation budget to fund the award.
Stellar Science will perform contract work at its Albuquerque facility through June 29, 2025.
A total of eight companies submitted a bid for the REBASE award.
