The U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, has selected three companies to provide submarine materials as part of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract that has a $72 million combined ceiling value.
Globe Composite Solutions, Goodrich Corp. and Westland Technologies will compete for delivery orders under the firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Work will take place at Globe’s facility in Stoughton, Massachusetts; Goodrich’s site in Jacksonville, Florida; and Westland’s location in Modesto, California, through June 2026.
NSWC Carderock will allocate $1,000 in fiscal year 2020 other procurement funds to each company as a minimum contract guarantee at the time of award.
The naval organization competitively procured the contract through a full and open competition, with the solicitation taking place through the SAM .gov website and gathering three responses.
