Carahsoft Technology has agreed to become Bentley Systems‘ primary government distribution contract aggregator and offer the latter’s infrastructure engineering software across federal, state and local agencies.
As part of the partnership, Carahsoft will provide government customers with access to Bentley’s products through existing distribution contracts, such as those with the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V program, the General Services Administration, the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance and OMNIA Partners, the aggregator said Tuesday.
Bentley’s offerings include MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenCities and OpenRoads, which can support the design, operational and maintenance activities of national infrastructure. The software products are designed to help government agencies modernize infrastructure assets such as roads and transportation systems.
Brock Ballard, vice president and regional executive for the Americas at Bentley Systems, said the partnership gives agencies access to tools that may help build sustainable infrastructure.
