Chugach Technical Solutions has received a $94.2 million firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army for services in support of its joint program office with the Marine Corps that manages the service branches' towed artillery systems.

The Department of Defense said Thursday contract work is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2026, and locations and funding will depend on each order.

The Anchorage, Alaska-based engineering company will assist the Project Manager for Towed Artillery Systems in its efforts to support the towed artillery systems of the Marine Corps units, Stryker and Infantry Brigade Combat Teams, Army light forces and other field artillery brigades.

PM TAS employs retrofit and training teams responsible for system modernization and serves as total life cycle system manager of towed and non-standard howitzers, digital fire control systems and weapons for GPS-aided positioning and surveying.

The office works with the USMC Logistics Command and the Defense Logistics Agency on ensuring that systems are maintained, updated and mission-ready.

Chugach was the sole bidder to an Army Contracting Command solicitation posted online. The contract was awarded to the company on Jan. 28.
