Kofile, a Dallas-based software and cloud services company, plans to stand up a new business entity that will offer online services and digitization support to government customers.
Kofile said Monday the GovOS company will operate under the Kofile umbrella and focus on supporting agencies' citizen engagement and organizational process automation efforts.
GovOS’s initial portfolio will revolve around helping agencies digitize their paper-based activities and encompass areas such as workforce, records, community, studio, licenses and access.
The new company’s establishment comes as part of Kofile’s efforts to streamline its document services segment.Â
Kevin Lafeber, chief revenue officer of Kofile, will head the new company.
According to Kofile, the company’s records digitization will continue operating under Jonathan Mohn, chief operating officer of Kofile, and focus on the preservation, restoration, storage, indexing and imaging of government documents.
Michael Crosno, CEO of Kofile, said GovOS will work to help governments deploy cyber tools at scale while driving the full potential of digital government procedures.
Kofile plans to release further information on GovOS in the coming weeks.
