The Texas Department of Information Resources has partnered with FireEye to provide state and local agencies and school districts access to the company's portfolio of cyber defense products and services.
The company said Thursday it will offer security platforms and the Mandiant Solutions suite to the state's public sector via a DIR bulk purchase initiative for offerings designed to help users detect and respond to endpoint threats.
Both parties also work with Carahsoft through a DIR contracting vehicle and a bulk purchase agreement.
FireEye built some of its products to secure email systems, networks and endpoints. The company also markets the Helix platform for organizations to manage security operations.
Mandiant Managed Defense, Threat Intelligence, Expertise on Demand and Purple Team Assessment services are also available under the state procurement initiative.
