Leidos will unify, run and maintain shore-based networks and manage data for the Department of the Navy under the potential eight-year, $7.7B service management, integration and transport portion of the Next Generation Enterprise Network Recompete contract.
“Under the enterprise construct of NGEN-R, we look forward to unifying and fortifying existing networks while providing cost-efficiencies to the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps,† Gerry Fasano, president of Leidos’ defense group and a 2020 Wash100 award winner, said in a statement published Thursday.
The NGEN Recompete’s SMIT track also includes network operations, transport services, information technology service management, systems engineering and user support services.
