Joseph Sabin, former director of health information technology at Sentar, has been elevated to serve as the company’s HIT vice president.
In his new role, Sabin will work to further Sentar’s Defense Health Agency contributions and pursue engagements with the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as the Department of Health and Human Services, the company said Monday.
His nearly 30-year career spans HIT, enterprise IT and cybersecurity work in support of the Military Health System and DHA.
Sabin led design activities of a health care platform for the U.S. Navy and is the recipient of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve’s Patriot Award. He also served as a communications specialist at the U.S. Army.
Sentar helps its customers secure networks and computers via cyber technologies and services.
