Cal Shintani Appointed SAS Government Strategic Alliances Lead

Cal Shintani, former principal at StrateGrowth Consulting, has joined analytics software firm SAS as head of government strategic alliances, G2Xchange ETC reported Monday.

He will bring to the role his experience in operations management, business development and market penetration and identification.

Shintani previously served as chief growth officer at Buchanan & Edwards, HighPoint Global and Oceus Networks. He also held business development and profit-and-loss responsibilities at CACI International, Unisys, Veridian, BTG and Gray Hawk Systems.

Prior to his move to the private sector, he served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine officer.
