LMI has received a $65M contract to provide strategic support to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ shared savings program. The company said Thursday that it will help CMS operationalize the application cycle, education and outreach strategy and compliance associated with shared savings efforts.
“This task enables us to provide strategic development, technical analysis and compliance reviews for the Shared Savings Program,†said Pat Tamburrino, vice president for health and civilian markets at LMI.
The company offers expertise to review the accuracy, completeness and policy compliance of CMS’ shared savings program applications. CMS’ shared savings program supports the establishment of accountable care organizations to provide medicare services. Physicians, hospitals and other health care providers may take part in the program to form an ACO.
