Defense investment firm Acorn Growth Companies has opened a new headquarters office in the Heritage Building in Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma City World Headquarters will serve as a venue for Acorn’s international activities, the company said Wednesday. Acorn’s other offices are located in Washington, D.C., California and London.

Lingo Construction and architecture firm Allford Hall Monaghan Morris helped Acorn customize the new headquarters space. Heritage Building also houses the 63-foot long Terrorism Memorial Flag that honors the names of almost 4,000 U.S. citizens who have fallen victim to terrorism. The company is working to explore ways to display the flag to the public.

“We are very pleased with our new home considering it houses the flag as well as occupying one of the most important and historic buildings in Oklahoma City,” said Rick Nagel, managing partner at Acorn Growth Companies.
