The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to select more companies for a potential 10-year, $22.3B information technology services multiple-award contract to support the VA as well as other federal customers, Bloomberg Government reported Wednesday.
A range of IT services, including health IT and telecommunications services support, as well as hardware and software are covered by the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology contract, which has a five-year base period and one five-year extension option.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award includes 29 companies to date and has supported the departments of Homeland Security, Defense and Housing and Urban Development. VA aims to issue up to seven spots for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses by March 2021 ahead of the T4NG effort’s expected conclusion in June 2026.
