CI Security is adding $9.6M to its invesment in cybersecurity for healthcare and government services, raising the total amount to more than $16M.
The investment supports the development of CI Security's Critical Insight Managed Detection and Response service that works to detect and address breaches and threats 24 hours a day, the company said Monday.
The Seattle-based cybersecurity firm is working to grow its workforce of analysts and portfolio of cyber technologies to protect cloud-based and on-premise systems.
“We’re honored to continue our work defending hospitals, clinics, cities, ports and school districts,†said Mike Hamilton, president and chief information security officer at CI Security.
The fresh funds, raised with the help of East Seattle Partners, mark the second segment of CI Security's fundraising effort.
