Timothy Alden, a more than 20-year defense, aerospace and government services industry veteran, has joined Macquarie Capital as a managing director.
He will work with Jeremy Parker, also a managing director at Macquarie, to oversee the company’s aerospace, defense and government services practice in the Americas, the company said Wednesday.
“Tim has the deep transaction experience, relationships and sector expertise to help us meaningfully expand our offering to aerospace, defense and government services clients,†said Michael Silverton, head of Macquarie Capital for Americas, Europe and Asia.Â
Alden most recently worked at financial services company Jefferies and held senior investment banking leadership roles at Goldman Sachs.
He also served in the U.S. Army as a commissioned aviation officer and Apache helicopter pilot.
Macquarie Capital is the principal investment and corporate advisory arm of Macquarie Group and served as financial adviser to CSRA, which was acquired by General Dynamics.
