Merlin International and Wickr have formed a partnership to help federal customers protect communications and sensitive data through the use of cybersecurity technology platforms.
Both companies aim to create and secure encrypted infrastructure assets for government clients and support federal information technology teams in efforts to incorporate Wickr-made technology into their enterprise systems using various standards, Merlin said Monday.
Wickr designed its platform to help users exchange data and host conferences via mobile and desktop platforms with encryption and verification tools built to comply with federal data protection rules and National Institute of Standards and Technology guidelines.
The alliance plans to host a series of workshops to discover potential updates and extensions to the communications offering.
Joel Wallenstrom, CEO of Wickr, said the company's platform will allow government users to manage data shared through IT systems including files, messages and calls.
