Unisys has unveiled a service offering intended to help customers authenticate enterprise information technology systems and users across the organization.
The Managed Public Key Infrastructure service uses a HydrantID-designed technology and supports a Zero Trust security approach for organizations to protect endpoints, mobile devices internet-of-things platforms and virtual functions, Unisys said Tuesday.
Consultants within Unisys' security solutions group will initially help clients to assess PKI requirements and conduct workshops to discuss their PKI needs. The team will then provide turnkey services based on the findings from the initial assessment.
PKI consists of procedures and policies that guide enterprises in efforts to create, manage, distribute, store and invalidate digital certificates used to secure e-commerce, online banking, financial transactions and emails.
