Applied Insight has received appraisal under the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration framework for the company's processes to engineer software and systems.
The CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Development rating indicates that Applied Insight's operating standards, tools, methods and procedure are "well characterized," the company said Thursday.
John Hynes, CEO of Applied Insight, said the company prioritizes quality assurance efforts given the nature of work it performs for government clients.
“This appraisal is part of a process of continuous improvement in how we work to address the complex data, cyber and infrastructure challenges our customers are facing every day," Hynes added.
Advanced Network Technology Solutions conducted the assessment with Bob Pomietto, senior quality assurance engineering and process manager at Applied Insight.
