CrowdStrike has been authorized under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to support the U.S. government in modernizing its information technology systems using the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
As a FedRAMP-certified cloud service provider, Crowdstrike will continue to serve the private sector, as well as expand its services to the federal, state and local governments and other public sector entities, the company said Thursday.
The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration assisted the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based firm in obtaining FedRAMP authorization for CrowdStrike Falcon, which leverages artificial intelligence and behavioral analytics to counter cyber attacks.
CrowdStrike will now be regularly monitored and assessed to ensure that it complies with FedRAMP standards.
The cybersecurity tech firm currently reviews over one trillion cases per week, CrowdStrike said.
