The U.S. Army seeks a contractor to help the service manage the operation of wideband satellite communications systems.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday stated the Army Contracting Command will solicit bids until Sept. 24 through a full and open competition and use a “best-value tradeoff” method to evaluate proposals.
A selected vendor would provide personnel, equipment, supplies and transportation services needed to sustain military SATCOM infrastructure.
Work would also include systems installation, site planning, warranty, sustainment training, incidental procurement, engineering, depot level support and life cycle support.
The effort would support the Army’s project office for satellite terminal systems that oversees acquisition, deployment and life cycle management of satcom terminals and linked systems.
The hybrid contract has a one-year base period, four option years and an additional six-month extension.
